Application Guidelines are now available.

■ Application period: January 31st (Monday) -February 4th (Friday) 17:00, 2022
■ Interview test: One day between February 16th (Wednesday) and 25th (Friday), 2022
■ Announcement of acceptance: Tuesday, March 8, 2022
■ Selection method: Evaluation will be based on the scoring results of the essay (100 points) and the interview (100 points). Scoring will be carried out according to the Rubric Evaluation Table.

*1) Contents assume that the budget for academic year 2022 will be met; however, since the budget for the project has not yet been determined, the contents related to support are subject to change. If there are any changes, they will be announced on this website. Please check.

*2) If you are not selected for your first choice of the program, you may further apply for second and/or third choice(s) in a different field of fellowship programs or for the Program for the Development of Human Resources with a Rhizome-Based Research Approach (Support for Pioneering Research Initiated by the Next Generation program). Nevertheless, such further application is considered only if the field and/or program of your second and third choices have not been filled.
In addition, applicants for who apply for the items (4) and (5) of “4. Application Requirements” cannot select the Program for the Development of Human Resources with a Rhizome-Based Research Approach (Support for Pioneering Research Initiated by the Next Generation program) as their second or third choice.
Further, eligible persons who apply for this program as their first choice, may not apply for Support for Pioneering Research Initiated by the Next Generation at the same time as their first choice.
